I recently got my 21-year-old daughter working out with me. She noticed a very small "pudge" in her midsection and didn't like it.
My question is this: According to Slow Burn technique, is grunting, jerking, breaking form a type of failure? She does some or all of these things typically at around rep 4, but she doesn't actually fail in what we would consider the classic form of failure. Should I let her continue like that or should I encourage actual failure, the inability to move the weight another inch?
Thanks.

P.S. Is this the right forum? She's not really a "kid", but she's my kid!
